Location: Eatontown NJ Job Type: Full-Time About the Role Colossus Media Group is looking for a high-energy, visually-driven Social Media Content Creator to join our team. We don’t just post; we create "thumb-stopping" moments. You will be responsible for the end-to-end production of short-form video content (Reels, TikToks, Shorts) for a diverse roster of clients. The ideal candidate has a "creator" mindset—you know how to grab a DJI Osmo , find the light, film a trend before it’s old news, and polish it to perfection using Adobe Premiere Pro or After Effects . MUST-HAVES (Do not apply without these) A Portfolio of Work: You must provide links to at least 3-5 live examples of Instagram Reels or TikToks you have produced, edited, or managed. DJI Gear Proficiency: You are a pro with the DJI Osmo Pocket and DJI Action series. You understand how to use gimbal stabilization, D-Log/D-Cinelike profiles, and the Mimo app for quick transfers. Adobe Creative Cloud: General knowledge is required. Specifically, you should be comfortable in Premiere Pro (editing/color grading) and Photoshop (for thumbnails/graphics). Using AI Key Responsibilities Production: On set is uasualy a crew of 4 to 5 people. Prior to production, we always have a pre-production list so that way "we always plan the work and work the plan!" Trend Spotting: Daily monitoring of TikTok/IG trends and sounds; pivoting quickly to adapt these to our clients' brand voices. Hardware Management: Take ownership of field shoots using DJI products (Osmo/Action) and potentially mobile rigs. Post-Production: Use Adobe CC to add professional-grade captions, transitions, and sound design that goes beyond standard in-app editors. Collaboration: Work with the strategy team to ensure content hits specific KPIs (engagement, reach, and conversion). Requirements & Skills 1–2+ years of experience creating content for brands or high-growth personal accounts. Expertise in vertical video storytelling (hook, body, CTA). Ability to work in a fast-paced agency environment with tight deadlines. Familiarity with social media analytics to understand why a video performed well.
