Position Summary The Social Services/Pantry Worker will clean and coordinate food pantry. Help put away food pickups. Assist with other social service Programs. Assist with preparation of Corps programs and services. Assist with daily facility maintenance needs as needed. Essential Functions Assist with all food pantry needs in Riverside/Moreno Valley locations Assist drivers with reception and storage of food pickups Knowledge of Salvation Army policies and procedures. Maintain a clean and organization system for all food in party and walk-in refrigerator and freezer Maintain a clean and organized system for the shower program and social services area. Supervising shipments and deliveries for the pantry. Run the shower program for the homeless and maintain service logs. Running reports and following protocols for Feeding America duties. Assist with SAM meals for the local elementary schools. Data entry for social services programs and services. Supervising volunteers working in the shower and pantry services area. Work with the property manager to address minor facility needs in social services areas. Run the utility assistance and program and make appointments for potential clients. Assist Corps Officers with Corps program setup and preparations during holiday events. Other duties as assigned by management.
