Description Social Worker, LCSW and Social Worker, MSW at Providence Portland Medical Center- On-Call, Day Schedule This is a combined posting for an Social Worker LCSW and Social Worker MSW. The requirements of each role are listed below under each associated title. Consideration for each role will be based on qualifications. The Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) independently provides comprehensive biopsychosocial/spiritual assessment, diagnosis and/or treatment/interventions/advocacy of patients and their support systems. The LCSW incorporates concepts and theories associated with life span development, neurobiology, and behavioral change. The LCSW will collaborate with the patient and support system to develop and implement evidence-informed person-centered care plans across the care continuum in collaboration with the Inter/Multi-Disciplinary Team (IDT). Social Workers work closely with various departments throughout the PHS. They work with all inpatient or outpatient population. The LCSW shall perform duties in a manner that respects patient self-determination, that reduces health disparities/barriers to care, and adheres to the NASW code of ethics, Standards of Practice (SOP), and mission. The CSWA Social Worker, under direct and continuous supervision, provides comprehensive biopsychosocial/spiritual assessment, diagnosis and/or treatment/interventions/advocacy of patients and their support systems. The CSWA incorporates concepts and theories associated with life span development, neurobiology, and behavioral change. Social Worker LCSW Required Qualifications Master's Degree - Social Work from a CSWE Accredited School of Social Work, OR from a school in candidacy status by the council of Social Work Education (CSWE). Oregon Clinical Social Worker License upon hire or, License in states wherever care is delivered upon hire. 2 years - Relevant Social Work experience. May include CSWA experience. Preferred Qualifications 1 year - All EMPL's: Care Management: Experience in acute care settings.
