The Display Driver team at Apple is looking for an outstanding Software Automation engineer to work alongside the Engineering development team to drive Software quality and Integration. You will own and maintain the lab infrastructure that powers our test automation, develop and extend automated test suites, and leverage modern AI-assisted development tools to accelerate your work. Description This position requires a self-motivated individual with strong programming fundamentals and prior programming or automation experience to handle responsibilities which will span all phases of development. You will be responsible for writing new automated tests for Display Software/Firmware, and for maintaining the infrastructure vital to run that automation - including the physical lab environment, test agents, device fleet health, and CI pipeline reliability. In early development phases, you will be asked to develop an automation test plan in cooperation with development engineering to cover the new features of our products. As development progresses, you will work closely with engineers to build, run automated test suites and triage the failures. Along the way, you will build knowledge of issues with our products and expand the automation test suites to cover those. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $147,400 and $272,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
