Duties Develop, test, and deploy robust software applications using languages such as Java, C#, Python, C++, and Ruby on Rails. Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to deliver innovative web development solutions utilizing React, Express, and RESTful APIs. Maintain and enhance existing systems by troubleshooting issues, optimizing performance, and implementing new features aligned with project goals. Design and implement scalable APIs for seamless integration across platforms using REST standards and secure RBAC (Role-Based Access Control) mechanisms. Manage code repositories using version control tools like GitHub, SVN, and Git to ensure code integrity and collaborative development. Work with cloud services such as AWS and Azure to deploy applications on Linux or Windows environments, ensuring high availability and security. Engage in continuous learning of emerging technologies including quantum engineering concepts where applicable to advance our software capabilities. Participate in code reviews, documentation efforts, and testing procedures to uphold quality standards across all projects. Requirements Proven experience in software development with proficiency in multiple programming languages including Java, C#, Python, C++, Ruby on Rails, and VBA. Strong understanding of IT infrastructure components such as Linux servers, SQL databases like MySQL and SQL Server, and cloud platforms including AWS and Azure. Hands-on experience developing RESTful APIs and integrating third-party APIs for web development projects. Familiarity with front-end technologies such as JavaScript frameworks (React) and front-end development best practices. Knowledge of application development methodologies including Agile practices to facilitate iterative delivery cycles. Experience working with version control systems like GitHub, SVN, or similar tools for collaborative coding environments. Ability to work with database management systems such as MySQL or SQL Server for data storage and retrieval tasks. Understanding of security principles including RBAC (Role-Based Access Control) to ensure application safety. Excellent problem-solving skills combined with strong communication abilities to collaborate effectively within diverse teams.
