Control and improve the code quality in the team Implement culture of learning in the team Influence and collaborate to create amazing API’s Participate in Agile scrums with cross-functional teams Participate and contribute in Agile sprints including planning, daily standups, backlog grooming sessions and reviews Analyze production defects, troubleshoot systems, identify root cause and implement fixes Work with third party vendors to develop software and/or integrate their software into our products Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned Qualifications/Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science a or related degree with 3 year modern application development experience (classroom or professional) OR, in lieu of degree, High School Diploma/GED 5 years of experience with cloud native application development using Java. Ability and flexibility to travel for business as required Desired Characteristics Familiarity building and consuming web services via SOAP and REST Java development experience Familiarity with common Java frameworks like Spring and Spring boot Familiarity with Jira and Bitbucket Familiarity with continuous integration environments Familiarity writing unit and integration tests Familiarity with JSON, REST and XML based web services Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical peers Strong cross-functional team player with the ability to work seamlessly across a matrix organization Desire to work in a dynamic, fast paced environment Strong interpersonal skills with ability to influence clients, team members, management and external groups Strong attention to detail in a team environment Strong oral and written communication, analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to analyze, use structured problem solving and available tools to troubleshoot systems, identify root cause, action plans, impact and resolution options Grade/Level: 09 The salary range for this position is 85,000.00 - 140,000.00 USD Annual and is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance. Actual compensation offered within the posted salary range will be based upon work experience, skill level or knowledge. Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA, NY Metro and Seattle. You will be required to commute to your nearest Hub (either virtual or physical) for in-person engagement activities such as regular business or team meetings, training and culture events.
