About The Role BlueVoyant is seeking a highly skilled Lead Software Engineer specialized in Microsoft Azure Technologies to join our remote team based in the United States. This role requires an individual with extensive experience in designing, developing, and maintaining cloud-native applications, particularly utilizing serverless and event-driven architectures within the Azure ecosystem. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in C#/.NET development, with a passion for building scalable, reliable, and secure systems. As a Lead Software Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the technical direction of our cloud solutions, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including product management, security, and engineering to deliver innovative cybersecurity features and services. Qualifications 6+ years of professional experience in software engineering, with a focus on cloud-native application development. Deep expertise in Microsoft Azure services, especially serverless and event-driven architectures such as Azure Functions, Azure Service Bus, Azure Event Grid, and Azure Storage. Proficiency in C# and .NET framework for backend development. Experience designing and implementing distributed and event-driven systems. Hands-on experience in building and operating production-grade systems in Azure, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance optimization. Proven ability to lead complex software projects while actively contributing to development tasks. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams. Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain cloud-native applications on Microsoft Azure, focusing on serverless and event-driven services. Build and operate scalable, reliable services utilizing Azure Functions, Azure Service Bus, and related Azure platform services. Design and implement distributed systems and event-driven architectures that seamlessly integrate with internal and external platforms. Contribute to the development of high-volume data processing, real-time event handling, and platform integrations. Collaborate with product managers, security teams, and engineering colleagues to define technical requirements and deliver innovative solutions. Prototype and assess new technological approaches, ensuring production readiness and scalability within Azure environments. Maintain application performance, security, and reliability across all environments, including development, testing, and production. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to services and integrations.
