About The Role Skimmer is seeking a talented technical leader for its Payments and Finance Development team. This role involves leading a small team of developers while actively contributing to code development to enhance the platform's financial operations, including credit card processing, payment gateways, and integration with accounting systems like QuickBooks Online. Reporting to the VP of Engineering, the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the security, reliability, and compliance of all financial systems within the platform. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence key financial processes, improve system integrations, and implement best practices in payment security and compliance. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with API-based integrations, particularly with Stripe and finance systems, and will leverage AI tools to optimize team productivity and code quality. This role is vital in maintaining the integrity and performance of Skimmer’s financial ecosystem, directly contributing to the company's mission of modernizing the industry and delivering exceptional value to its customers.
