About The Opportunity Our team has partnered with a SaaS company focused on improving transportation safety and efficiency to identify a “Lead Software Engineer” to join their team. This is a Microsoft shop, emphasizing a strong background in OOP (ideally .NET/C#), Azure, React, TypeScript, SQL Server, distributed systems, event-driven architecture, Domain-Driven Design, and SOLID engineering principles. We have openings for both backend leaning and frontend leaning Lead and Senior Software Engineers. This individual will play a key role in both hands-on development and team leadership, driving technical execution while fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. Salary: $160,000 – $175,000 (depending on experience) + 15% bonus + full benefits (medical/dental/vision/401k match + more) Location: 100%Remote (PST/MST timezone) Responsibilities Provide day-to-day leadership to a team of engineers, fostering accountability, collaboration, and continuous growth across the group Offer technical direction through code reviews, architectural input, and hands-on problem solving Define team objectives, monitor progress, and support individual development through coaching and mentorship Contribute directly to the design and development of scalable, secure, and high-performing software solutions Drive delivery of key initiatives, ensuring alignment with timelines, quality expectations, and organizational priorities Build and enhance integrations using APIs and modern cloud-based technologies across enterprise environments Collaborate cross-functionally with product, architecture, and business stakeholders to shape technical roadmaps Partner with DevOps teams to improve deployment workflows, system reliability, and monitoring capabilities Translate complex technical concepts into clear insights for non-technical audiences Promote adherence to engineering standards, security protocols, and system design best practices Maintain clear documentation of systems, processes, and technical decisions to support scalability and knowledge sharing Identify opportunities to improve development workflows, system performance, and team efficiency Champion the adoption of modern tools, frameworks, and engineering methodologies Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent 5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience 2+ years of experience leading or mentoring engineers Strong proficiency in one or more object-oriented programming languages such as C#, Java, or Python (ideally .NET/C# expertise) Experience working with JavaScript or TypeScript is highly desirable Demonstrated expertise in building APIs and working with RESTful services in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP) Familiarity with enterprise platforms such as ERP, CRM, or HRIS systems and common data formats like JSON, XML, or CSV Experience working with messaging systems or middleware technologies such as Kafka or RabbitMQ Background working with large-scale data or high-throughput transactional systems Proven ability to lead teams, solve complex problems, and deliver practical, scalable solutions Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical teams Benefits & Selling Points Comprehensive benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k) with match + many more amazing benefits) Contribute to a highly mission-driven, non-profit organization focused on transportation safety and efficiency Work with cutting edge technology with technical freedom to explore and expand on existing skills Stable, high-growth company with plenty of room to make an impact and progress your career About Sayva: Sayva Solutions is an accounting, finance, technology, business transformation and human resources professional services firm whose focus is on long term relationships created through teamwork and doing what is in the best interest of others.
