What you’ll do As a Software Quality Analyst at EML Payments, you will design and execute automated test strategies across API, .NET, JavaScript, AngularJS, SQL, and React stacks, while also contributing to manual testing activities. You will work closely with developers and product owners across the delivery lifecycle to build scalable test automation, validate features, identify risks, and contribute to a culture of quality. Success means reliable, well-tested releases underpinned by robust automation that meets business requirements and protects EML’s clients and customers. Key Responsibilities: Design and execute automated and manual test plans for software features and releases, covering API, .NET, JavaScript, AngularJS, SQL, and React stacks, including functional, regression, and exploratory testing activities. Build and maintain automated test suites using Playwright, integrating with CI/CD pipelines and version control workflows in Azure DevOps and GitHub. Log, track, and manage defects through to resolution using Jira, collaborating with developers to validate fixes and analyse quality risks across releases. Document test cases, results, and quality metrics using TestRail and other test management platforms to support team transparency and continuous improvement. Ensure compliance with QA processes, standards, and release governance requirements, leveraging deployment tools such as Octopus Deploy to support release quality activities. What you’ll bring To succeed in this role, you will bring: Qualifications Strong understanding of QA methodologies, including automated, manual, exploratory, and structured testing approaches across API, .NET, JavaScript, AngularJS, SQL, and React stacks. Analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to identify edge cases and quality risks. Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate defects and quality issues to developers and stakeholders. Familiarity with agile development environments and sprint-based delivery practices. Collaborative approach to working within cross-functional delivery teams. Experience 2 to 4 years in software quality assurance, with demonstrated experience in automated testing across enterprise applications in agile environments. Hands-on experience creating automated test scripts in Playwright and working with defect tracking and test management tools. Familiarity with test case design techniques and structured testing practices. Proven experience with API and integration testing, including REST/SOAP services, and familiarity with financial technology software environments. Skills Automated test design and execution using Playwright across API, .NET, JavaScript, AngularJS, SQL, and React stacks. Defect tracking and management using Jira, with familiarity in Azure DevOps, Octopus Deploy, and the ability to utilise and understand how to use AI tools to support testing and workflow efficiency.
