Hiring: Software Quality Assurance Engineer **Location: Remote / Hybrid – San Francisco, CA Duration: 1 Year** We are looking for a Software Quality Assurance Engineer with strong experience in manual testing, exploratory testing, and test automation for firmware and cloud-based products. The ideal candidate should be skilled in identifying edge cases, validating technical solutions, and building automated test coverage. Key Responsibilities: Analyze and validate product requirements and technical solutions Design and execute manual and exploratory test plans Identify, reproduce, log, and verify defects Develop and maintain automated tests using scripting languages Collaborate with development teams for root cause analysis and release validation Document test cases, procedures, and testing results Required Skills: Strong QA and software testing experience Manual Testing and Exploratory Testing Test Automation experience Python, JavaScript, or Ruby scripting Knowledge of SDLC and defect lifecycle Linux environment experience Networking basics and CLI tools Firmware and cloud testing exposure Strong communication and collaboration skills 5+ years of testing and automation experience
