Position Overview We are looking for an experienced and compassionate Sonography Specialist / Ultrasound Imaging Technologist to join a thriving team dedicated to providing excellent imaging care. You will utilize advanced ultrasound technology to carry out a variety of diagnostic procedures, working closely with a supportive network of healthcare professionals to offer clarity and reassurance to patients through accurate imaging. Responsibilities Include Conduct a variety of ultrasound examinations including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging. Ensure patient comfort and safety during all procedures, explaining each step with sensitivity and understanding. Work collaboratively with radiologists and referring doctors to ensure high-quality diagnostic imaging. Manage and maintain imaging technology, promptly addressing any equipment issues. Diligently document procedures and keep accurate patient records in the electronic medical system. Remain updated with advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and industry best practices. Education Requirements Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline. Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is favored. Certifications Required Active certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent. BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred. Key Skills Strong technical skills in sonographic imaging methods and patient positioning. Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
