The Sound & Light Technician will be responsible for configuring, operating, and maintaining sound and lighting equipment for various events and performances. Day-to-day tasks include setting up microphones, ensuring audio balance, operating lighting systems to create captivating visual effects, troubleshooting equipment issues, and collaborating with event planners and performers to deliver high-quality AV experiences. Qualifications Proficiency in operating and maintaining lighting systems Knowledge and experience in live sound and microphone setup Sound engineering and mixing capabilities Understanding of music systems and their role in audio-visual setups Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills related to sound and lighting equipment Excellent communication and teamwork skills Flexible and adaptable to varying schedules or event demands Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in sound and lighting is a plus Prior experience in events, theater, or live performance production preferred
