Sourcing Specialist

Our women's fashion client on the South Shore is looking for a Sourcing Specialist with 5+ years experience for an immediate 8+ week contract; this role is onsite 2 days and remote 3. Ideally looking for PLM experience, vendor management Responsibilities: Be the owner for development and sourcing execution for assigned products and styles from start to finish. Be the deciding factor for decisions related to materials, construction, cost, and partnerships. Manage development timelines and proactively address risks to protect delivery, cost, and quality. Handle vendor communication for development, costing, and execution Negotiate costs Select and manage vendors Identify opportunities to consolidate and improve cost, and efficiency Reduce rework, delays, and downstream risk through strong development oversight. Act as a subject matter expert within assigned categories. Full ownership of assigned programs High independence and accountability Escalates high impact or strategic decisions requiring You will need experience with MS Office applications, especially Microsoft Excel, and PLM experience is a plus.
