Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and service-driven Sous Chef / Assistant Kitchen Manager to join our leadership team. This position is ideal for a culinary professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, leads by example, and takes pride in developing both people and food quality. The right candidate will bring a positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining high operational standards while helping create an exceptional guest experience. Key Responsibilities Maintain a positive, professional, and service-oriented attitude during all shifts Uphold and enforce all food quality, consistency, sanitation, and safety standards Assist the Chef in the creation and execution of daily features and specials Train and onboard all new kitchen team members to company standards and expectations Support the continued development and coaching of existing line cooks and prep staff Lead by example through professionalism, urgency, organization, and teamwork Work closely with the management team to ensure alignment on goals, projects, procedures, and operational objectives Help maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment Assist with inventory, prep systems, ordering, and daily kitchen operations as needed Qualifications Previous kitchen leadership experience preferred Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices Ability to lead and motivate a team in a high-volume environment Excellent communication and organizational skills Passion for hospitality, food quality, and team development Ability to remain composed and solution-oriented under pressure Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed What We Offer Competitive salary based on experience Opportunity for growth within an established leadership team Supportive and team-focused work environment Creative input on features and menu development A culture focused on consistency, professionalism, and hospitality If you are passionate about leadership, food quality, and building strong kitchen teams, we would love to hear from you.
