Our menu is a flavorful journey through Latin America, featuring signature pressed sandwiches, exquisite ceviches, and a broad spectrum of dishes that celebrate the diversity and zest of Latin culinary traditions. We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Sous Chef with experience in Latin cuisine to join our team at Calle Sol Latin Café & Cevicheria. As a Sous Chef, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the authenticity and flair of our offerings, ensuring each dish carries the hallmark of Latin warmth and innovation. Our chefs, drawing from their extensive knowledge of Latin America and Florida, craft a diverse menu featuring tantalizing Latin American specialties. Key Responsibilities: Assist the Executive Chef in managing kitchen operations and ensuring the highest standards of food quality and presentation. Lead, train, and develop kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment. Oversee the preparation and cooking of menu items, ensuring consistency and excellence in every dish. Manage inventory, ordering, and kitchen supplies to maintain efficient operations. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards in the kitchen. Contribute to menu development and the creation of new dishes that reflect the vibrant flavors of Latin America. Monitor and control food costs to maximize profitability. Qualifications: 2+ years of experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role in a high-volum
