Responsibilities Support the Executive Chef in supervising kitchen staff, fostering a positive and productive team atmosphere Oversee food preparation and presentation to ensure consistency and excellence across all menus Manage inventory control and food safety protocols, including proper handling and storage of ingredients Assist with menu planning, ensuring variety and alignment with dietary requirements and guest preferences Coordinate shift management and ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy service periods Supervise catering events, banquets, and special functions with attention to detail and quality standards Monitor food production processes, including cooking techniques and portion control, to minimize waste and optimize efficiency Lead by example in maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and hospitality in the kitchen Experience Proven experience in a supervisory role within a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality environment Extensive banquet experience with knowledge of large-scale food production for events Strong background in fine dining cuisine, with a focus on presentation and quality Familiarity with dietary department procedures and accommodating special dietary needs Demonstrated leadership skills in managing teams, inventory control, and food service management Hands-on experience with menu planning, food handling, and kitchen management systems Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in the food industry Previous restaurant or catering experience emphasizing culinary expertise and customer service excellence Join us as a Sous Chef where your culinary talent will thrive!
