Adding to our already successful leadership team, our newly created sous chef position will continue to add value to the always fresh, hand crafted made to order quality our guests know and love us for. In a first of its kind role, you will assist our Leadership Team in overseeing daily kitchen activities, ensuring exceptional food quality, and maintaining a positive, efficient work environment. Your expertise in fine dining, food production, and team management will continue to raise the quality and cutting edge offerings Judi’s Lounge has become knows for. Responsibilities Assist in supervising daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth shift management and adherence to safety standards Lead food preparation and cooking processes to deliver high-quality dishes consistent with our menu standards Oversee food handling, storage, and inventory control to minimize waste and optimize resource use Support menu planning and development, incorporating innovative ideas while maintaining consistency and quality Manage dietary department requirements, including special dietary accommodations and allergy considerations Supervise and mentor kitchen staff, fostering teamwork, leadership development, and a positive work environment Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation Coordinate catering events and banquet services, ensuring timely delivery of exceptional culinary experiences Skills Extensive culinary experience with a strong background in high quality dining environments Proven supervising experience with demonstrated leadership capabilities in fast-paced kitchens Knowledge of banquet service, catering, and large-scale food production processes Strong skills in inventory management, inventory control, and food management systems Expertise in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management practices Experience with restaurant or hospitality management including shift oversight and team coordination Familiarity with food safety protocols and dietary department procedures Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and lead diverse teams effectively Ability to thrive under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in food service operations Pay: $21.00 - $27.00 per hour Benefits 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Vision insurance Work Location: In person
