PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Including but not limited to: Collaborate with outside vendors and FOH, managing time-sensitive tasks with speed and accuracy. Prioritize and organize tasks to ensure attention to detail and follow-through. Deliver professional, friendly, and proactive guest service. Lead by example with a hands-on approach, providing exemplary training. Supervise the culinary team's performance, attendance, and conduct. Expedite or work on the line when needed, maintaining safety and cleanliness in workstations. Resolve problems calmly using good judgment under pressure. Demonstrate excellent knife skills and treat all products with respect. Ensure quality standards using all senses. Contribute to achieving departmental goals and objectives. Maintain a professional image through appearance and dress. Perform tasks independently and work cohesively with the team. Communicate clearly and perform basic arithmetic. Conduct daily shift meetings with the culinary team. Have full knowledge of menu items, daily specials, and promotions. full list of responsibilities upon request REQUIREMENTS Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects up to 50 pounds independently. Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening, hearing, and visual acuity. Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods and perform actions like reaching overhead, bending, twisting, and stooping. High school diploma or equivalent. 5 years of restaurant experience, preferably in a Michelin or Forbes property. 2 years of sous chef experience in a luxury, guest-focused environment. Food handling/sanitation certificate. Proficient in English and bilingual in Spanish for communication. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced team environment. Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and guest service skills. Computer literate with strong references.
