Spanish-Speaking Infant/Toddler Teacher Old Firehouse School – 5th Ave Campus Bilingual Spanish-English Program _ Attachment-Based Reggio Emilia–Inspired_ Pay: $22–$27 per hour Bonuses: $2,000–$16,000 retention bonus based on enrollment and tenure Additional bonuses up to $400 awarded 2–4 times annually for exceptional project presentations and contributions Benefits: Fully paid Kaiser Platinum health insurance Dental and vision coverage Approximately 6 weeks paid time off during school closures Paid professional development opportunities Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday Join Our Bilingual Infant & Toddler Community Old Firehouse School’s 5th Ave Campus is seeking a nurturing, Spanish-speaking Infant/Toddler Teacher to join our bilingual Spanish-English early childhood program. Our program is rooted in attachment theory and inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach. We believe responsive caregiving, strong relationships, and language-rich environments create the foundation for lifelong learning. We are looking for educators who are emotionally attuned, collaborative, and passionate about supporting infants and toddlers during their earliest years of development. Responsibilities Provide responsive, relationship-centered care for infants and toddlers Support bilingual Spanish-English language development through daily interactions Create engaging sensory and play-based learning experiences Build secure attachments with children and strong partnerships with families Observe and document developmental milestones and learning Collaborate closely with co-teachers and administration Maintain a safe, nurturing, and organized environment Qualifications Required Minimum 12 ECE units Infant/Toddler ECE coursework required Fluency in Spanish and English Experience working with infants and toddlers Strong communication and collaboration skills Preferred Knowledge of attachment theory and/or Reggio Emilia philosophy Experience in bilingual early childhood settings Passion for reflective teaching and professional growth Ideal Candidate You are Warm, patient, and nurturing Passionate about bilingual education Skilled at building strong relationships with children and families A lifelong learner who values collaboration and growth Calm, responsive, and emotionally attuned To Apply Please submit Resume Brief cover letter describing your experience with infant/toddler care and bilingual education Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour Benefits Dental insurance Flexible spending account Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Education: Associate (Preferred) Experience: Childcare: 1 year (Preferred) Language: Spanish (Required) Work Location: In person
