Spanish Teacher Responsibilities: Teach several Spanish courses each semester for lower, middle, or upper school students. Teach Spanish language skills in listening, speaking, reading, and writing through a variety of instructional methods. Create opportunities for students to practice conversational Spanish and improve pronunciation and comprehension. Organizing events where students can showcase their Spanish language skills. Communicate with parents regarding student progress and behavior. Participate in regular professional development activities to stay current with best practices and innovation in language education. Spanish Teacher Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Spanish, Linguistics, Education, or related required. Master's degree preferred. Proven written and verbal proficiency in Spanish. 2-3 years of previous teaching experience. No teaching license or credential is required. Strong interpersonal as well as written and verbal communication skills. Organized, dependable, and eager to contribute to the school community.
