Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. What It Takes To Succeed In This Role Valid Special Education certification in Pennsylvania (or currently teaching with an Emergency Permit while enrolled in a Special Ed program) Experience working with moderate to severe disabilities, including behavioral support Ability and commitment to work all required days and hours: June 23, 2025 – July 30, 2026, Monday-Thursday, 8:30am-3:00pm Reliable transportation; must reside within 35 minutes of a school site Preparedness to provide documentation: active license or permit + proof of enrollment, a supervisor reference (not coworker), resume with bullet-point highlights, and city of residence Understanding of and comfort with the PA DOE credentialing process (approximate timeline: 14 days) Commitment to full attendance and punctuality throughout the ESY program Minimum one-year separation from prior assignments with this client through other agencies Your Primary Responsibilities Plan and deliver individualized special education services to assigned students Collaborate with team members to address IEP goals, manage classroom behaviors, and foster a positive learning environment Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate regularly with parents and support staff Attend teacher orientation and set-up days (June 23-25, 2026) before instruction begins Flexibly adapt to classroom assignments and site placements based on student needs, with locations in Levittown, Fallsington, and Bensalem This contract role offers the chance to engage in meaningful ESY instruction for summer 2026.
