Job Description
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Key Qualifications Valid Pennsylvania Special Education Teacher certification is required Solid experience with early childhood special education Demonstrated ability to write and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Proficient in composing Quarterly Progress Reports (QPRs) Competent in developing and executing engaging lesson plans tailored to student needs Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills Primary Responsibilities Deliver individualized instruction to early childhood students based on IEP goals Develop, document, and update IEPs, QPRs, and lesson plans in compliance with policies and timelines Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom atmosphere Work closely with educational teams, families, and specialists to promote student success Employ evidence-based strategies tailored for diverse learning needs Manage classroom behaviors and maintain a safe learning environment By joining this engaging role, you will play a crucial part in shaping positive outcomes for young learners, while building strong professional relationships with supportive colleagues.
