Key Qualifications Active Massachusetts teaching license or certifications in either Moderate or Severe Disabilities (required) Prior experience in a school-based special education setting Background clearance via CORI search and fingerprinting (a letter of suitability from a previous employer may serve for fingerprint requirements) Proven ability to adapt instruction to meet the needs of students with developmental or intellectual challenges Strong communication and collaboration skills to work closely with fellow educators and families Primary Responsibilities: Provide individualized and group instruction to 2nd and 3rd grade students with developmental delays or intellectual impairments Develop and implement IEPs in alignment with educational standards and student goals Employ evidence-based teaching strategies tailored to diverse learning needs Collaborate with support staff, therapists, and administrators to foster student growth Communicate regularly with families regarding progress and interventions Participate in meetings, assessments, and ongoing professional development as needed This role offers a supportive onsite environment where you will be valued for your expertise and passion.
