Special Instructor/ SEIT

Pediatric educational therapy company seeking learning specialists/ special instructors/ SEITs to provide 1:1, home-based special education services to children birth - 5 years old with developmental disorders. This position is Monday through Friday in Bushwick, Brooklyn, 10 hours a week Monday - Friday during the day. Special Education Itinerant Teacher (SEIT) Responsibilities: Provide 1:1, in-person Special Education Itinerant Teacher (SEIT) services Foster strong relationships with families and create a positive learning environment in the home Maintain daily, quarterly and annual paperwork including daily session notes, progress reports and annual reviews Special Education Itinerant Teacher (SEIT) Requirements: Minimum of a bachelor's degree in special education or a related field NYS teacher of students with disabilities teaching certificate or similar Familiarity with providing services in the home to children birth - 5 years old Available for home-based sessions in Bushwick, Brooklyn Previous home care experience Job Types: Part-time, Contract Pay: $90.00 - $110.00 per hour Application Question(s) Are you able to work in Bushwick, Brooklyn Monday-Friday during the day?
