Patient Advocate: Protects patient from potential injury; selects operative setups and supplies to maintain sterile technique during all procedures Customer Service: Monitors customer service through assessment and evaluation. Recommends and implements action for improving. Management of Team: Coaches and assists team members in preparation, use and maintenance of supplies and equipment. Assists in the training of all new employees. Performance competency: Possesses a working knowledge of all equipment, contrast media, and inventory used during procedures. Maintains performance competency through attendance at required in-service/education program, annual review and maintains credit hours for continued certification. Goals and Objectives: Assists the manager in identifying and accomplishing departmental goals and objectives. Cross training: Possesses the willingness to expand knowledge. Technical Competency: Renders highest technical skills in physiological recordings and possesses a complete knowledge of digital radiography imaging. Become competent with pacemaker programming, testing, and implantation. REQUIREMENTS: Must hold current RT(R) or RN licensure American Heart Association (AHA) CPR certification at HCP Level required American Heart Association (AHA) ACLS certification required, or obtained in one year Possesses knowledge of cardiac patients, defibrillators, and Code Blue Competent in caring for pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
