Job Description
Trusted Health is seeking a skilled Special Procedures Technologist to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team, supporting patients and providers across a variety of interventional and diagnostic imaging settings. As a Special Procedures Technologist, you will use advanced imaging modalities—such as fluoroscopy and digital angiography—to assist physicians with complex procedures, including vascular interventions, interventional radiology exams, cardiac catheterization, biopsies, drain placements, and other minimally invasive procedures. Working within a collaborative, patient-centered care environment, you will prepare procedure rooms and equipment, verify orders, screen patients for contraindications, and ensure that all imaging protocols are followed to obtain high-quality diagnostic images while maintaining strict radiation safety standards for patients, staff, and yourself. You will be responsible for positioning patients, operating imaging equipment throughout each procedure, monitoring patient status, documenting all relevant information in the electronic medical record, and assisting the clinical team with sterile technique, contrast administration support, and emergency response when needed. In partnership with the nursing and physician teams, you will help educate patients and families about procedures, provide reassurance and clear communication, and contribute to an efficient workflow that minimizes delays and optimizes outcomes. This role is ideally suited for technologists who value autonomy, precision, and continuous learning. At Trusted Health, we prioritize transparency, innovation, and empowerment, offering opportunities similar to our Travel Nurse positions—such as competitive pay, flexible scheduling options, and comprehensive benefits—to help you shape a career that fits your life. Special Procedures Technologists who work with Trusted Health may have opportunities to take on travel or contract assignments, experience different leading healthcare facilities, and expand their skill set in high-acuity environments while being supported by a modern, nurse- and clinician-focused staffing platform.
