Job Description
Our People team is responsible for managing and enhancing all aspects of human resources and employee experience. Our team oversees talent acquisition, including recruiting, interviewing and onboarding new hires, ensuring that the Firm attracts and retains top legal talent and business services professionals. We develop and implement HR policies, manage employee relations, and administer compensation and benefits programs to ensure a fair and supportive work environment. Additionally, the People team focuses on training, professional development, work allocation, mobility and fostering a positive workplace culture. We also handle performance management, employee engagement, and compliance with labor laws and regulations. Through our comprehensive HR strategies and initiatives, the People team ensures that the Firm’s workforce around the world is motivated, skilled and mobilized to deliver on the Firm’s objectives. The Senior Advisor, Recruitment provides professional support and advice within the Recruitment team on a wide range of People matters, including Recruitment queries relating to job descriptions or onboarding procedures. This role balances key operational duties with contributions to strategic conversations within the team. The Senior Advisor is expected to support development of innovative solutions to complex Recruitment problems and undertake detailed analysis to identify improvements and best practices. Drawing on in-depth knowledge of Recruitment in the Professional Services industry, this role helps to address complex issues and challenges, aiding the effective functioning of the Recruitment team and contributing to broader objectives. The Roles And Responsibilities Of This Job Include Contributes to the operational delivery, utilising comprehensive knowledge of the field to address complex issues and challenges Collaborates with the team and business leaders across the Firm to provide specialist advice and support on Recruitment matters including talent acquisition strategies, candidate selection and other hiring needs Performs analysis and investigation to identify areas for improvement within the team and common Recruitment processes, informing optimisation ideas to improve efficiency Monitors compliance with legal regulations and internal policies within the recruitment process, ensuring activities adhere to data protection requirements and ethical standards Collaborates with cross-functional teams to design and deliver training programmes, workshops, and initiatives to enhance employee engagement, productivity, and retention Oversees the creation of Recruitment reports, presentations and communications for internal stakeholders that boost the effectiveness programmes and initiatives Stays informed of industry trends and best practices in Recruitment, proactively identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and innovation to senior leaders Supervisors at this level will lead a team of junior professionals and/or coordinators, delegating and facilitating the work of others within established procedures and practices Individual contributors at this level will coordinate and review work within the team, providing guidance to less experienced members Providing professional support to the development of innovative solutions to complex problems and operational challenges Specialist - level knowledge in own discipline and good knowledge of other related disciplines Sound analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to independently conduct detailed analysis, investigate issues and identify solutions, seeking guidance only on atypical or complex issues Sound communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with team members and occasionally external stakeholders Bachelor's degree or equivalent through experience and relevant professional certification/qualification where appropriate to the discipline This role reports to Director, Recruitment Equal Opportunities White & Case is an Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) employer and is committed to creating a fair workplace.
