Specialist Expert (GIS/Database) Location: Remote (Raleigh, NC preferred) Experience: 7+ years We are seeking a Specialist Expert with strong expertise in enterprise database management and GIS linear referencing. The role focuses on supporting the long term maintenance and enterprise integration of a critical Hydrography Layer dataset. Responsibilities Manage geometry, event, and attribute changes to GIS data Perform Data QA/QC and ensure dataset accuracy Create and maintain ETL processes Execute direct SQL Server queries for reporting and analysis Provide regular progress reporting to stakeholders Support enterprise integration and ongoing dataset operations Required Skills (7+ years each): Data QA/QC ETL process creation and maintenance SQL Server database queries Progress reporting Linear referencing ESRI Roads and Highways
