Speech Language Pathologist Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to join our team. The SLPA will work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide high-quality services to clients with speech, language, and communication disorders. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about helping individuals improve their communication skills. Key Responsibilities Assist the SLP in providing speech and language therapy services to children and/or adults. Implement treatment plans designed by the SLP. Conduct speech-language screenings and document client progress. Prepare therapy materials and keep accurate records of therapy sessions. Provide support in clinical settings. Educate clients and families about therapy techniques and home exercises. Ensure compliance with all ethical and legal standards. Qualifications : Bachelor's degree in Communication Disorders or a related field. Current certification/licensure as an SLPA (if required by state). Previous experience in speech-language pathology (preferred). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Spanish a plus but not required.
