Searching for a Part-Time or Full-Time employee. Pay will be offered per patient, depending on their benefits/payment type. Our work environment includes Relaxed and friendly atmosphere Flexible working hours Collaboration with other SLPs Duties Assess and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in patients of all ages Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patients' specific needs Provide therapy sessions to improve speech and language skills, including articulation, fluency, voice, and comprehension Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure optimal outcomes Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations to track progress and adjust treatment plans as needed Educate patients and their families on communication strategies and techniques to enhance functional communication Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries Experience Minimum of a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program State licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist Experience working with diverse populations and age groups, including pediatrics and adults Knowledge of medical terminology related to speech-language pathology Familiarity with case management principles and practices Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare team members Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a multidisciplinary setting -Strong writing skills for necessary completion of documentation -Time management skills for managing your caseload, rescheduling appointments, and navigating changes in patients' needs for scheduling Skills Proficiency in conducting comprehensive evaluations of speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders Knowledge of anatomy and physiology related to speech production and swallowing function Experience working with pediatrics and/or adults Ability to provide evidence-based therapy interventions for a wide range of speech-language disorders Strong problem-solving skills to develop creative treatment strategies for complex cases Excellent written and verbal communication skills Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and may be subject to change based on the needs of the organization.
