This job plans, organizes, and conducts speech therapy treatment programs based upon the guidelines established under the state practice act. Maintains patient care records, evaluates the patient's response to treatment and recommends treatment plan changes and participates in in-service and continuing education programs. Participates in special departmental programs, clinical education and assists with program development/enhancement. Education Required - Master's degree Work Experience Required - None Preferred - Experience with pediatric and adult populations Certifications Required - Current Speech Pathologist license in the state of practice or eligibility for licensure by examination or reciprocity from another state Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association Certification of Clinical Competence from American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) required within 2 years of hire Knowledge Skills and Abilities (KSAs) Must have computer skills and dexterity required for data entry and retrieval of information. Effective verbal and written
