Part-Time Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC-SLP or CF) Prism Pediatric Therapy | Palos Heights, IL Part-Time | W-2 Employee | Clinic-Based About Prism Pediatric Therapy Prism Pediatric Therapy is a small, relationship-centered private practice specializing in pediatric speech, language, AAC, and literacy support. We are committed to providing neurodiversity-affirming, child-centered therapy that prioritizes meaningful communication, connection, and individualized support for every child and family. Our practice specializes in Augmentative & Alternative Communication (AAC), and we strongly value collaboration, mentorship, ongoing learning, and continuity of care. We intentionally maintain a supportive and highly collaborative environment where clinicians are encouraged to grow their clinical skills while feeling supported as professionals. This is an excellent opportunity for a clinician seeking strong mentorship in AAC within a clinic-based setting. Position Overview We are seeking a passionate and collaborative Speech-Language Pathologist to join our growing team on a part-time basis. This role is primarily clinic-based and focused on pediatric populations with a variety of communication needs, including autism, AAC users, language disorders, speech sound disorders, executive functioning, and social communication needs. Ideal candidates are thoughtful, flexible clinicians who value relationship-based therapy, collaboration with families, and individualized care. This position has strong potential to grow into a larger caseload and eventual full-time opportunities as the practice continues to expand, if desired. Schedule Part-time: approximately 6–15 hours per week to start After-school availability required at least 2 days per week Some daytime availability is available if desired Optional weekend hours available Flexible scheduling opportunities as caseload grows Responsibilities Conduct evaluations and provide individualized speech-language therapy for pediatric clients Develop and implement evidence-based, child-centered treatment plans Collaborate closely with families and caregivers Complete documentation and progress reporting in a timely manner Participate in clinical collaboration and mentorship opportunities Support AAC implementation and caregiver education when appropriate Maintain a positive, supportive, and collaborative clinical environment Qualifications Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology Illinois SLP license CCC-SLP preferred; strong CF candidates encouraged to apply Pediatric experience preferred Experience with AAC preferred, but not required Feeding experience preferred, but not required AAC & Mentorship Prism Pediatric Therapy has a strong specialty focus in AAC and literacy. Extensive mentorship and support in AAC assessment, implementation, and clinical decision-making will be provided.
