Job Description
The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) evaluates, diagnoses, and treats residents with communication, voice, cognitive, and swallowing disorders. Conducts assessments and develops individualized treatment plans. Provides direct therapy and implements strategies to improve communication and safe swallowing. Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams and educates residents, families, and staff. Maintains accurate documentation, ensures compliance, and participates in ongoing professional development. Qualifications include a master’s degree, current licensure, and relevant clinical experience. Strong communication, assessment, and documentation skills are essential.
