Speech Language Pathologist - PRN/As Needed

The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) evaluates, diagnoses, and treats residents with speech, language, voice, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, providing direct therapy, and implementing therapeutic strategies. They collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, educate residents and families, and ensure documentation compliance. Qualifications involve a Master’s degree, current licensure, and relevant experience. The role requires physical activity such as standing, lifting up to 75 pounds, and working in a fast-paced, facility-based environment with frequent resident interaction. Work involves adhering to safety, infection control, and regulatory standards, supporting resident-centered care, and ongoing professional development. Note: duties may be reassigned as needed.
