Your Impact & Responsibilities As our Full-Time SLP, you will be the lead expert in communication and swallowing wellness. Comprehensive Evaluations: Diagnose speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders (dysphagia) to empower patient recovery. Custom Treatment Plans: Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to specific patient needs and physician orders. Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with nursing, physicians, and other therapy disciplines to ensure holistic and coordinated care. Education & Advocacy: Provide essential training to patients, families, and nursing staff to ensure successful maintenance and safe transitions. Outcome Management: Monitor progress, adjust plans dynamically, and participate in clinical conferences to drive optimal patient outcomes. Professional Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely medical records in compliance with state and payer requirements. Qualifications Licensure: Current, valid California Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) License (Required). Aptitude: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to relate professionally with patients, families, and colleagues.
