Job Description
Join our travel SLP team and use your skills where they are needed most. You will help patients improve communication and swallowing disorders while working in a skilled nursing facility in Windsor, VA. Apply and a recruiter will reach out with more details. Minimum Requirements Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited educational program. Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY). Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA. Active Virginia state SLP license is required to start the assignment. BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required. Experience working in skilled nursing facilities preferred. Experience with dysphagia evaluations and treatment, experience with SNF documentation and Medicare-skilled requirements preferred. Assignment Details Facility Type: Skilled Nursing Facility. Shift: Days. Shift Hours: . Work Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday. Guaranteed Hours: 35 hours per week. Contract Length: 13 weeks. Location Highlights Windsor, VA offers easy access to coastal and outdoor recreation. The town sits within driving distance of the Blackwater River State Park (approximately 10–20 miles) and is about 30–40 minutes from the beaches along the Chesapeake Bay and Hampton Roads waterfront. Windsor is near the Suffolk Seaboard Coastline area and provides a suburban lifestyle with local parks, community events, and a short commute to larger urban centers such as Norfolk and Virginia Beach, which are roughly 45–60 minutes away.
