Role Description Conduct thorough evaluations of patients spanning pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations using a variety of standardized assessments and observational strategies. Create tailored treatment strategies that focus on both immediate objectives and long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing requirements. Deliver individualized speech therapy sessions that emphasize language, communication, fluency, voice, and swallowing improvements. Collaborate extensively with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, doctors, families, and caregivers to develop unified care tactics. Provide valuable education for patients and their families to facilitate progress beyond therapy sessions. Contribute to occasional inpatient evaluations and therapy interventions, ensuring seamless care throughout the treatment continuum.
