Role Responsibilities Assess patients of various ages using both standardized evaluative methods and subjective observation. Create individualized treatment programs focused on short-term objectives and long-term speech, cognitive, or swallowing goals. Deliver dedicated speech therapy sessions that enhance communication, language proficiency, fluency, vocal quality, and swallowing functions. Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team including physical therapists, occupational therapists, nursing staff, physicians, family members, and caregivers to devise cohesive care plans. Educate patients and families on therapeutic strategies to promote progress in everyday life. Conduct occasional inpatient therapy assessments and interventions, ensuring a s
