Cardinal Hill Rehabilitation Hospital, part of Encompass Health, is seeking a dedicated Speech Pathologist to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing evaluations and treatments to adult and geriatric patients in an inpatient rehabilitation setting. Working closely with an interdisciplinary team of physicians, nurses, physical and occupational therapists, and case managers, you will help design and implement individualized treatment plans that drive measurable functional outcomes and improve overall quality of life. As a Speech Pathologist at Cardinal Hill Rehabilitation Hospital, you will conduct evidence-based assessments, including standardized tests and instrumental evaluations as appropriate, and document findings clearly and thoroughly in the electronic medical record. You will develop and deliver targeted therapy interventions, monitor patient progress, adjust plans of care, and provide patient and family education to support recovery and safe discharge.
