Job Description
Job Summary The Sports Bet Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the sportsbook, ensuring smooth execution of betting activities, cash handling, and guest service delivery. This role ensures compliance with all internal policies, regulatory requirements, and standards for responsible gaming. The Sportsbook Supervisor leads and develops the sportsbook team, monitors betting activity for integrity and risk, and ensures an exceptional guest experience in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment. Education & Experience High school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum of two (2) to three (3) years of experience in sportsbook, casino gaming, or a related gaming environment preferred. Previous supervisory or team lead experience required. Strong knowledge of sports betting operations, odds, wagering systems, and sportsbook procedures. Experience handling cash operations, reporting, and transactional auditing. Familiarity with sportsbook platforms, POS systems, and gaming software preferred. Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English preferred. Skills & Competencies Strong leadership and team management capabilities. Excellent customer service and conflict resolution skills. Ability to work effectively under pressure in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. High attention to detail, especially in cash handling and betting activity monitoring. Strong analytical skills to identify irregular betting patterns or suspicious activity. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to coordinate with multiple departments including Security, Finance, IT, and Marketing. Demonstrated integrity and commitment to compliance and responsible gaming standards. Physical Requirements Ability to remain on feet or seated for extended periods depending on operational needs. Ability to work in a dynamic, high-energy environment with frequent guest interaction. Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Ability to handle light physical activity such as lifting or carrying up to 20 pounds when needed.
