Job Description
Description Provides Comprehensive Leadership and ensures compliance to regulatory agencies/corporate and BIAH procedures for designated BIAH products (pharmaceuticals and biologicals) manufactured and sold in the US. Serves as Local Pharmacovigilance Manager (L-PV) who acts as contact for the HoPV & VeTS NA and HoGPV within the US and fulfills local US PV requirements for veterinary products which are authorized and/or marketed in the US as per BIAH US Pharmacovigilance Procedures. Provides strategic direction and oversight to ensure functional excellence of the teams through hiring, development, mentoring and retention of key talent. Serves as Subject Matter Expert, Advisor, and leads assigned projects and sub-teams and supports corporate pharmacovigilance in ensuring compliance to regulatory agencies/corporate and BIAH company pharmacovigilance regulations/procedures. Requirements Duties & Responsibilities Veterinary Degree (MSc, MPH or MBA Preferred) DVM/VMD and must be from AVMA accredited college of veterinary medicine with ten (10) Years Veterinary practice experience required including Five (5) Years within a regulated Animal Health industry environment and at least Three (3) years experience leading leaders Experience with epidemiology and/or electronic databases and statistics preferred 3+ Years of Leadership Experience Functional Competencies Knowledge of Regulatory Requirements & Compliance –Level 4, Leading Leveraging Strategic Relationships – Level 3, Influencing Analytical Thinking – Level 4, Leading Negotiation Skills –Level 3, Influencing Managing Conflict –Level 3, Influencing Market Knowledge –Level 3, Influencing Project/Program Management –Level 3, Influencing Eligibility Requirements Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction Must be willing to take a drug test and post-offer physical (if required) Must be 18 years of age or older Our Company Why Boehringer Ingelheim?
