As a Senior Air Quality Specialist , you’ll play a key role in advancing the company’s environmental compliance and emissions reduction initiatives. You will collaborate across corporate and field teams to implement best-in-class air quality practices, support regulatory adherence, and drive sustainability projects that directly contribute to corporate ESG goals. What You’ll Do Lead air permitting and compliance programs across Texas and Utah, navigating state, federal, and tribal regulations. Conduct emissions inventories and modeling for VOCs, HAPs, and GHGs using tools like AP-42 and ProMax. Prepare and review Title V permit applications, monitor emissions, and assess control technologies. Develop and implement emissions reduction projects, tracking systems, and compliance reporting. Manage GHG reporting programs, including Subpart W inventories and tribal emissions data collection. Conduct field inspections, compliance audits, and equipment reviews to ensure adherence to regulatory standards. Train operations staff on compliance protocols and enhance environmental tracking databases. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate air quality best practices and support ESG reporting initiatives. Stay ahead of regulatory changes and advise on modifications for new or reconstructed sources. Support consent decree compliance, including emissions calculations, reporting, and mitigation strategies. Who You Are Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field. Experience in oil and gas environmental compliance, consulting, or related work. Skilled in Microsoft Office, ProMax modeling, data analysis, and remote sensing or production software. Strong problem-solving, communication, and regulatory interpretation skills. Familiarity with tribal air quality regulations and EPA Regional Tribal Air Programs.
