Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Child Care Director to lead our early childhood education programs and childcare services. Duties Lead the planning and implementation of age-appropriate educational activities for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and Special needs. Supervise and support childcare staff, including classroom teachers, caregivers, and assistants, ensuring effective classroom management and behavior guidance Maintain compliance with licensing regulations, health and safety standards, including first aid protocols and emergency procedures Coordinate staff schedules, training sessions on childhood development, special education strategies, and caregiving best practices Foster strong relationships with families by communicating program updates, addressing concerns, and supporting their child’s individual needs Oversee classroom environments to ensure cleanliness, safety, and engaging learning experiences for all children Manage administrative tasks such as enrollment processes, record-keeping for child progress, incident reports, and licensing documentation Experience Proven experience working with children across various age groups including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and children with special needs. Prior leadership experience in a childcare center or early childhood education setting as a director or supervisor Extensive knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early childhood education Familiarity with classroom management techniques that promote positive behavior and inclusive learning environments Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional certifications in special education or behavior management are highly desirable Experience working with diverse populations of children and families from different backgrounds Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively Join us as a Child Care Director to lead with passion, inspire excellence in early childhood education, and create a supportive environment where children can thrive!
