Piper Companies is seeking a Sr. Contract Clinical Research Associate(Gen Med) focused on Gen Med to support clinical trials within the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry. The Sr. Contract Clinical Research Associate (Gen Med) focused on Gen Med will play a critical role in the oversight and execution of Phase I–III clinical studies, with a preference for experience in Cardiology, Endocrinology, and Obesity, while remaining open to other general medicine indications. The Sr. Contract Clinical Research Associate (Gen-Med) is a remote opportunity requiring you to sit in PST, MST or CST and requires 8-10 days of onsite monitoring. Responsibilities of the Sr. Contract Clinical Research Associate (Gen Med): Manage and monitor clinical trials in accordance with FDA regulations, ICH-GCP guidelines, and study protocols. Conduct site qualification, initiation, interim monitoring, and close-out visits (SQV, SIV, IMV, COV). Serve as the primary point of contact for investigative sites, ensuring strong site relationships and issue resolution. Ensure accurate and timely data collection, source document verification, and regulatory documentation. Identify, document, and escalate protocol deviations, safety issues, and study risks. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Clinical Operations, Data Management, and Medical Affairs. Support inspection readiness and participate in audits as needed. Requirements of the Sr. Contract Clinical Research Associate (Gen Med): 5+ years of independent monitoring experience as a Clinical Research Associate. Strong background in General Medicine clinical trials; experience in Cardiology, Endocrinology, or Obesity highly preferred. Thorough knowledge of ICH-GCP, FDA regulations, and clinical trial processes. Proven ability to manage multiple sites and studies independently. Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills. Ability to travel as required for site monitoring visits. Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or a related field. Compensation for the Sr. Contract Clinical Research Associate (Gen Med): $55.00 - $65.00 per hour (Depending on experience) Full Comprehensive Benefits: Health, Vision, Dental, PTO, Paid Holiday and Sick Leave if Required by Law.
