Summary: The Sr Equipment Technician will serve as the subject matter expert and trainer for specific processes within the department. Performs preventative maintenance, repairs, and calibration on machines and equipment. Assist with validation activities of all assets enrolled in the Equipment Management System and maintain a specific process within the Equipment Management System. Ensures the timely completion of scheduled work in accordance with established work instruction, standard operating procedure, and company policy. Click link for more benefits details: View the 2026 Employee Benefits Summary Location: 6278 S Troy Circle Centennial, CO 80111 Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Maintain and repair movable equipment in accordance with established operating procedures, work instruction, safety practices and company policy. Uses blueprints, sketches, and layouts, wiring diagrams, drawings, and specifications to ensure proper maintenance and repair. Provide technical support to all departments owning and utilizing assets. Checks and updates preventive maintenance schedules and weekly reports. Monitor and validate temperature control refrigeration equipment. Ensure work activities are completed within scheduled timeframe in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures. Test, calibrate, adjust, and maintain electromechanical, mechanical, optical pneumatic, hydro mechanical equipment. Disassemble, clean, repair and replace defective equipment. Complete associated documentation of all calibration, maintenance, validation, and repair activity and ensure information is accurately and concurrently recorded. Work internal with cross-functional teams & vendors to ensure availability of equipment. Provide support to all investigations related to assets. Create & Review PM/Cal procedures for adequacy. Complete understanding of the general and detailed aspects of the job and the practical applications to problems and situations ordinally encountered. Frequent contact with other departments and/or outside organizations. Understands specialty profession, keeps knowledge up to date, is a technical resource for others, follows technology practices and standards. Perform required PM/Cal operations within specified time frame. Provide feedback to various departments about equipment for process improvement and/or development. Adhere to and promote proper practices and techniques which are consistent with current operating procedures, training requirements, safety practices and company policies. May perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned. Requirements: AA degree in related discipline or High School Diploma and 4+ years of experience in lieu of a degree. 3+ years’ equipment maintenance and troubleshooting experience May substitute 2+ years of experience at AlloSource working in the core in lieu of 3+ years’ of equipment experience Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications Ability to communicate in English proficiently (speaking, reading, writing, and comprehension) Preferred Experience: Bachelor’s Degree Experience with FDA regulatory guidelines applicable to the medical device and tissue bank industry AlloSource is committed to providing equal employment opportunities and does not discriminate against qualified individuals with disabilities in regard to applica
