Who You Are You are an Sr. Level Industrial Maintenance Technician with at least 5 years of electrical/mechanical troubleshooting, additional skills in industrial controls and robotics is a plus. You have performed preventative, predictive and routine maintenance tasks. You know how to troubleshoot issues, repair failures of production and facilities equipment, and ensure maximum equipment efficiency, effectiveness and reliability. Where You Will Work Our state-of-the-art facility is located in Marion, IN 46953. Relocation assistance considered for senior level technicians. What You Will Do Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair automated high speed production equipment. Maintain and troubleshoot AC/DC circuits including 480VAC and 24VDC. Ability to read and interpret schematic, blueprints, and ladder logic. Support supervisor with technical assessments, advice, and hands on repairs and troubleshooting. Provide feedback for engineers to help modify existing equipment and improve the design of future equipment. Respond to trouble calls and make repairs to minimize downtime. Utilize CMMS too accurately and thoroughly document and track all corrective and preventive maintenance activities. Drive company goals and objectives through assigned projects and continuous improvement activities. Qualifications: 5-10 years of job-related experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Preferably in the food industry. Ability to read and interpret machine manuals/schematics, electrical blueprints/schematics, and process control diagrams. Experience troubleshooting and installing 480V electric motor wiring and 120V and 24V DC motor control circuits Experience troubleshooting and installing VFD’s (Allen-Bradley, Lenze, Vacon, etc.) Must possess a general understanding of PLC systems and ladder logic. Use of precision measurement tools (multimeter, megger, micrometer, etc.) Other helpful qualifications: Experience with Allen Bradley RS Logix, ControlLogix, and PowerFlex VFD Mechanical installation and alignment techniques (motor/gearbox, pumps, sprockets, sheaves). In-depth understanding of pneumatics and hydraulic systems helpful. Proficient in the use and understanding of mills, lathes, and drill presses. Knowledge and experienced with servo systems. Knowledge and experience with the installation, calibration and maintenance of processes and analytical instrumentation.
