Our client, an apparel company, is looking for a Senior Kids Designer to join their team in NYC! Responsibilities Manage design initiatives from initial concept through to final delivery. Develop and evolve seasonal assortments, including inspiration boards and trend presentations. Stay informed on industry trends, materials, and techniques to drive fresh, relevant ideas. Prepare and maintain detailed design specifications, ensuring seamless transition to production. Provide mentorship and direction to junior team members and interns. Partner with merchandising, sourcing, sales, and marketing teams to align creative direction with business goals. Uphold brand identity while encouraging innovation and forward-thinking design. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Design, Fashion, Fine Arts, or a related discipline. Minimum of 5 years of experience in apparel design. A strong portfolio showcasing creative and technical design capabilities. Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign. Solid knowledge of fabrics, garment construction, and production methods. Effective leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Proven ability to collaborate across teams in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
