DESCRIPTION Amazon Transportation is seeking a Senior Marketing Analytics and Data Hygiene Lead to own marketing measurement, automated reporting, dashboarding, data quality, and AI-enabled analytics across multiple transportation marketing teams. This role will help marketing leaders understand performance, optimize channel investments, and make better decisions through timely, accurate, and actionable insights. The ideal candidate is a senior analytics professional with experience working on marketing use cases such as campaign measurement, audience segmentation, channel performance, lifecycle marketing, attribution, and marketing funnel analysis. This person will define measurement frameworks, improve data hygiene, automate manual reporting, and identify opportunities to use AI to improve reporting accuracy, reduce manual work, detect anomalies, and scale insight generation. Key job responsibilities Lead the Marketing Analytics function across multiple Amazon Transportation teams. Define and execute the analytics strategy for measuring marketing effectiveness across email, events, paid media, organic search, lifecycle campaigns, and other marketing channels. Partner with Marketing, BIE, MarTech, and business stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into scalable analytical solutions. Apply analytics to marketing use cases such as campaign performance measurement, audience segmentation, attribution, funnel analysis, channel optimization, lead quality, and customer engagement trends. Identify and implement opportunities to use AI and automation to reduce manual reporting, improve data quality, detect anomalies, generate insights, and increase the scalability of marketing analytics. Build and maintain automated reporting inputs for Weekly Business Reviews, Monthly Business Reviews, Monthly Performance Reports, and Quarterly Planning Reports. Develop dashboards using QuickSight, Tableau, or similar tools to enable self-service access to marketing performance metrics. Establish clear measurement frameworks, metric definitions, attribution logic, and analytical standards across marketing initiatives. Work with MarTech teams to define and maintain data hygiene standards across marketing systems. Ensure data is tracked accurately and consistently across channels, campaigns, brands, and audiences. Support the development of data models, reporting infrastructure, and attribution logic that improve marketing measurement. Identify opportunities to reduce manual work, eliminate reporting defects, and improve operational efficiency through automation, AI, standardization, and quality controls. Present analytical findings and strategic recommendations to senior leaders to influence marketing investment decisions. Navigate ambiguity by defining problems, establishing measurement approaches, and making high-judgment trade-offs across competing priorities. Help lay the foundation for a unified marketing data model across multiple brands under the Amazon Transportation umbrella. A day in the life As our Marketing Analytics Lead, you’ll develop measurement strategies and automation solutions that help marketing teams understand performance across email, events, paid media, and lifecycle campaigns. You’ll build dashboards, partner with Marketing, BI, and MarTech teams, define attribution logic, improve data quality in systems like Marketo and Adobe Analytics, and present insights to senior leaders. This role combines strategic thinking with hands-on problem-solving to reduce manual work and build reliable, scalable reporting processes.
