Summary Of Position Reporting to the Production Manager, the Senior Production Supervisor manages personnel, and production and packaging processes of donuts across multiple production lines ensuring that performance meets or exceeds operational standards and goals. Location: 1120 West Fullerton Ave, Addison, IL Schedule: Sunday to Friday (Sixth Day Pay Offered) Shift : First Shift/ 1:30am to 10:30am Essential Duties And Responsibilities Production: Oversee the startup, adjustment, and/or setup of line, packaging, and labeling machinery. Manages product change overs, lunches and breaks. Complete effective end-of-shift handoff. Review daily production schedules. Determine requirements for and availability of labor, ingredients, and packaging materials. Make necessary adjustments. Inspect and measure raw and/or finished products to verify conformance to specifications. Oversee adjustment of equipment if products fail to meet standards. Prepare and evaluate production-related reports. Continuous Improvement: Conduct continual review of KPIs on Redzone. Investigate shortfalls and analyzes ways to improve plant operations and OEE while stabilizing improvements. Recommend process improvements for safety, housekeeping and sanitation, production methods, efficiency, asset utilization, equipment performance, quality, and reduction of waste. Leadership: Act with optimism to instill a positive and professional team culture committed to productivity, continuous improvement, safety, food safety, and quality. Promptly address performance issues and hold employees accountable for results. Address personal complaints to resolve problems. Keep employees informed. Train employees to standards and to increase their skills. With HR, select line personnel for hire and evaluate new hires performance. Safety: Monitor and enforce safe work standards and procedures. Complete daily safety inspection. Conduct toolbox talks and accident investigations implementing re-training and corrective actions. Maintain plant floor organization and good housekeeping. Food Safety/ Quality: Monitor, enforce, and comply with food safety/ quality requirements and GMPs reporting issues to the Production Manager, Director of Food Safety or Director of Quality. Policy: Master Company policies, procedures and cultural norms and hold team accountable for compliance with the letter and spirit of these requirements acting as a role model and coach. Desired Qualifications Bachelors Degree (Business, Economics, Engineering preferred) Food processing or packaging supervisory experience in an automated, high-speed packaging environment. Working knowledge of GMP’s, SQF, safety practices and OSHA regulations. Computer literate including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Able to analyze data, reports and plant performance working methodically through challenges. Effective interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written). Preferred: Working knowledge and practical experience in LEAN. Preferred: Spanish helpful but not required. Job offers may vary based on the candidate’s education, certifications, job-related knowledge, skill, experience, geographic location, shift, and internal equity. Clyde’s may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. Base salary range: $85,000 to $105,000
